A Meissen porcelain group “The Engagement”

Depicting a lady in a floral gown holding out her hand to a standing gentleman dressed in a floral justacorps and purple vest, behind them a putto with a torch and Cupid in the tree. Unglazed base with faint blue crossed swords mark. Restored. H 19.3 cm.
Modelled by Johann Joachim Kaendler, 1747, produced soon after, decorated later.
