A Parisian Louis XV cartel clock

Ormolu clock with glazed white enamel dial and replaced textile lining. Rectangular pendulum movement with half-hourly striking on a gong and anchor escapement with thread suspension. Marked in capital letters on the dial and engraved on the plate “Denis Maßon Aparis”. Some smaller bronze mountings lost. H 65 cm.
