A chryselephantine figure “La Justice”

So-called “chryselephantine” statuette made from ormolu, metal, and carved ivory. Labelled on the marble base “LA JUSTICE PAR OBIOLS MÉDAILLE AU SALON”. Engraved signature “Gobiols” on the plinth. A finger of the left hand reattached, the marble with minor chips. H 27 cm.
