Christoph Derschau (1938-1995) was a writer, journalist, poet, and an impassioned marathon runner. He organized poetry readings and happenings as early as the 1960s and 1970s. As director of the contemporary art gallery "Galerie im Centre" in Göttingen, he established close contacts with the cultural and art scene, with which he maintained a close relationship throughout his life.
