An Oribe-type bowl. Owari province. Mid-19th century

Of longish shape with a long spout, covered by a shiny, thin and mottled green glaze with an turquoise overglaze. Impressed mark reading Shuntai (= Kato Shuntai, 1802-1877). Crack with gold lacquer restoration at the outside. Two old collector's numbers 43 and 838.88 in red ink.
