A Kutani vase. Komatsu City, Ishikawa prefecture. Ca. 1980

The spherical body covered by a dark purple glaze, the very thin neck with stripes of yellow, green and blue glazes. At the base signed Kutani Masahiko in iron-red (=Tokuda Yasokichi Masahiko, 1933-2009). Tomobako, inscription on the lid reading, ...yû kabin, signed Kutani Masahiko and sealed Masahiko.
