A stag antler kiseruzutsu. Second half 19th century

Of muso-zutsu type, finely carved in low relief with a peasant leaning on to a gnarrled staff and carrying bundles of brushwood on his back and with a knife at his hip, on a ground of a very fine tatewaku pattern.
Length 21.3 cm
