An 18k gold diamond and sapphire flower brooch

The brooch 18k white gold, the chain 14k. Designed as a stylised thistle flower cluster set in the centre with a brilliant-cut diamond (ca. 0.85 ct, H/I, vs) surrounded by six round sapphires (in total ca. 3.40 ct, very fine colour and quality). The terminals of the fine wires radiating from the centre set with 50 tiny brilliant-cut diamonds and five rows of radiating brilliant-cut diamonds (the remaining diamonds in total ca. 2.66 ct, H/I, vs-si). With a hinged bail and brooch findings. Suspended from a fine curb chain. Hallmarks: Fineness 750, "Kern"; fineness 585, "BS" (chain). The central rosette formerly screw mounted, now attached with a small soldered area. Diameter ca. 4.5 cm. Necklace L 49/54 cm. Total weight 24.81 g.
