A large George III silver tureen

Oval bombé form vessel with a gadrooned rim on four paw feet, the acanthus clasped handles with shellwork ornament. Engraved with a large coat of arms, the lid with a corresponding crest. With the original silver inset. H 27; W 46.5; D 27.8 cm, weight 5,843 g.
