A Brunswick pewter shield made for the clothmaker's guild

Engraved pewter shield with ten mounting holes along the outer edge. The front emblazoned with two lions rampant supporting a crowned rocaille cartouche above the names of the owners. The back engraved with the names of the members of the cloth maker's guild and dated 1777. H 41.3, W 33 cm.
