A carved Baroque ivory crucifix

Tall crucifix depicting Christ in a perizonium and the crown of thorns. The cross inlaid with tortoiseshell, blue dyed tortoiseshell, brass and pewter on a softwood and oak core. Minor losses, the base enlarged later. H 104.5, W ca. 25, D ca. 14 cm.
Flanders or Saxony, around 1700 / first quarter 18th C.
