A pair of Parisian corner cabinets with the stamp of Joseph Schmitz

Palisander and mahogany veneer on oak with ormolu mountings and black and white marble tops. Single-door cabinets in the Transition style with chequerboard and floral inlays. One stamped in the apron "JME" and "J.SCHMITZ". Older repairs, later minor veneer warping, the marble restored. H 91, 56 cm.
