Decorated with prunus sprig reliefs, with original saucer. Blue crossed swords mark, dreher's numbers. H of cup 4.5, D saucer 13.8 cm.
1762.

According to an invoice published by Wittwer, this cup is thought to originate from an order described as a "coffee service with indian flowers, gold mosaic borders, reliefs picked out in red with gold stems, of 6 pairs of coffee cups, 6 hot chocolate cups, 7 large items, each 145 rt" ordered from Meissen by Frederick II in 1762.
