Literature

Cf. Mundt, Historismus Kunsthandwerk und Industrie im Zeitalter der Weltausstellungen, Berlin 1973, no. 11 for an identical vase and stand measuring 18.2 cm in height produced earlier by Minton & Co. in Stoke-on-Trent (Kunstgewerbemuseum Berlin, Inv.no. 67,18). The piece was presented to the Prussian queen Augusta in 1867 and presumably served as a model for the version by KPM.
