Decorated with a standing figure of Cupid with his bow and arrows in an oval reserve on gold ground. The border painted with entwined floral garlands. Blue "bindenschild" mark, year stamp 96, impressed 5, incised 3. D 24.5 cm.

This rare motif is based on a work by the Bolognese painter Elisabetta Sirani (1638 - 1665).
