An Italian 18k gold enamel, sapphire and diamond parrot clip brooch.

Designed as a stylised parrot perching on a branch. Set with 41 8/8-cut diamonds (in total c. 0.25 ct, H/I, vvs) and two oval sapphires (in total c. 0.45 ct), the belly picked out in blue transluscent enamel. With double-pin brooch mountings. Hallmarks: Fineness 750, origin stamp "160 AL". Minor scratches to the enamel, minor repairs. H 4.8 cm. Weight 19.3 g.
