An Iranian fritware dish with a Cypress motif

With turquoise glaze and remnants of lustre. The outer surface decorated with black birds amid tendrils. Restored. Severe wear to the inside of the bowl. H 9.8, D 20.5 cm
Around 13th / 14th C.

This dish with detailed foliate and floral decor is characteristic of so-called "Sultananbad" ceramics.
