A Meissen porcelain tea caddy with landscape motifs

Of square section with original slip lid. Decorated on all faces with finely painted landscapes in quatrefoil surrounds. Unglazed base with blue crossed swords mark and 5. in gold (also to the lid). Some retouches to the gilding, a restored breakage to the lid. H with lid 10.8, W 7.4, D 4.9 cm.
Decor attributed to Christian Friedrich Herold, around 1735 - 40.
