A pair of rare Meissen porcelain miniature vases with eagle handles

Porzellan, kupfergrüner Camaieudekor mit Purpurkonturen, wenig Gelb und Eisenrot, Vergoldung. Gotzkowsky model baluster-form vases with handles formed as eagles perching on rocaille brackets. Unglazed, unmarked base. The eagles restored. H ca. 8 cm.
Late 1740s.
