Set of 15 abuna-e: Ai no jûnishi. Title sheet: Zodiac (in pencil). Wheel with the 12 animals of the zodiac, the respective years listed underneath each, from 1900-1971. Signed in pencil: C Karhu ’72. Ed. 14/150. The set includes 12 images, each 23.3 x 29.1 cm, of lovers, the zodiac animal on the obi of the woman. Additionally, there are two images of lovers in the sign of the carp, and of the crane. Each sheet with title written in pencil (names of the animals), edn. no. (14/150) und signature C Karhu. In the original cloth covered wrapper, signed and with seals. Fine impressions and colours, mica, each sheet with scotch tape or paper tape on verso, each sheet in the original mat, few sheets with thin spot at upper margin (due to tearing off the mat), otherwise all in very good condition; title sheet with small brown stains in lower margin, tear on left, backed margins.
