A French 12 strand natural pearl choker with an 18k gold enamel and diamond buckle.

Twelve flexible strands of small Baroque form natural river pearls (diameter ca. 2.8 mm, fine silvery lustre) separated by three vertical bars and a corresponding clasp set with a row of old-cut diamonds (16 stones, in total ca. 0.80 ct, K/L, si ). The curved central buckle with a floral motif in dark blue enamel set with ca. 115 rose-cut diamonds and an old-cut diamond of ca. 0.5 ct (K/L, vs). Hallmarks: Parisian "tête d'aigle". Indistinct maker's mark. L 35 cm. W 4.5 cm. Weight 67.67 g.
