Walnut and elm veneer on oak, ormolu and brass mountings, glazing, tin dial. Week-running with quarter-hourly striking on a small bell and hourly striking on a large bell. Moon phase aperture with a figure of the grim reaper in the gable as a faux-pendulum. Date aperture and subsidiary second beneath 12 o'clock, week day aperture above 6 o'clock, small central alarm dial (alarm weights missing). The dial signed "KLAAS TROOST AMSTELDAM".
