A Meissen porcelain dish and cover with Chinoiserie decor

In the form of a Chinese rice bowl. Decorated with Chinoiserie scenes in three gilt strapwork surrounds. The original lid with a gilt ring finial and further Chinoiserie designs. Blue crossed swords mark, dreher's mark x for Johann Daniel Rehschuh, 33 in gold. The gilding retouched in some areas, two retouched flat chips to the edge of the body. H 9.5, D 11.1 cm.
C. 1730, decorated in the workshop of Johann Gregorius Hoeroldt.
