A Meissen porcelain dish and cover with merchant navy scenes

In the form of a Chinese rice bowl. Decorated with finely painted harbour scenes in broad gold cartouche surrounds. The original lid with a gilt ring shaped finial and two additional harbour scenes. Blue crossed swords mark with curved guards, 4 in gold. H with lid 8.5, D 10 cm.
C. 1730 - 35, decorated in the workshop of Johann Gregorius Hoeroldt.
