Oval box on a flat base. The lid finely decorated with an allegorical depiction of the city of Rome with a personification of the River Tiber in the centre flanked by Romulus and Remus. H 2.8; W 7; D 5 cm, weight 87 g.
Marked "N.P", possibly for Nicola Palmentiero, second half 18th C.
