A monumental polychromed wood head of Guandi. Yuan dynasty

The squarish face with large slanted eyes beneath bushy eyebrowns and full lips, wearing a cap, tied together at the top of the head, displaying a ruyi-shaped emblem in front, one of the identifying features of Guandi. Remains of red and blue pigments. Restores cracks. Mounted on a wooden stand.
