A dark red silk zardozi-embroidered sari. Northern India.

The wide border of the narrow side of the cloth displaying two rows of boteh, filled with flowers amidst floral scrolls and a thin border lengthwise, the central area with rows of small flower sprigs arrangend alternatingly, all worked in couched gold-wrapped threads, golden metal strips and sequins. The lower end a bit torn. Lined with red cotton fabric.
