1763.

In mid-November 1762, King Frederick II ordered a dinner service with a "purple mosaic rim, garlands and blossoms" from the Meissen manufactory, after he had ordered a dessert service with an openwork basketweave border and forget-me-not flowers in relief two months earlier. The King gave both services to his chief equerry Count Friedrich Albert von Schwerin (1717 - 1789) as a gift for his 69th birthday on 24th January 1781.
