A German 14k gold niello peridot and fire opal ring convertible into a bracelet. Master work of the goldsmith.

One of a kind piece. The band formed from eight angular rings connected by hinges decorated on the upper faces with niello inlays. The ring can be unfolded and worn as a bracelet. The hinged oval bezel/clasp cluster set with a fire opal cabochon (c. 11.86 x 6.57 mm) surrounded by eight peridots (in total 2.85 ct). Hallmarks: Fineness 585. The fire opal with a small chip. Bezel/clasp 2.0 x 1.5 cm. Ring size 54. Braclet L 19 cm. Weight 23.96 g.
