Custom made clasp for a South Sea pearl necklace. Tiered oval design cluster set with a faceted oval amethyst of c. 41.57 ct (c. 25.20 x 20.25 x 14.29 mm) surrounded by 36 small brilliant-cut diamonds (in total c. 0.72 ct, I/J, vs). With three attachments for bayonet clasps. Can be worn horizontally or vertically. Hallmarks: Fineness 750, maker's mark "Ni". 3.7 x 3.0 cm. Weight 21.84 g.
