An important Consulat era pendulum clock by LeRoi et fils

Mahogany veneer on oak, fire-gilt bronze, white enamel dial with black numerals, blued steel and openwork gilt hands, domed glass, brass, steel. Tumbled pendulum movement with overhead spring barrels, 14-day running with thread suspension, repetition and alarm, striking with four hammers on two bells. Signed "LeRoi et fils" on the dial. Two screws missing from the dial, minor wear to the gilding, the handle on the latch of the back door missing. H with handle 52.6, W 28.2, D 19 cm.
