A pair of George IV silver chambersticks

Large drip pans with gadrooning and shellwork to the rims. The shafts inset with vacant holders for wick trimmers. With separately attached snuffers. All pieces engraved with the crowned crest of the 14th King's Hussars with the Order of the Garter and the motto "HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE". H 11.5 cm, weight 1,077 g.
