A rare Meissen porcelain cup and saucer with ominaeshi and butterfly motifs

Octagonally lobed model with rocaille handle and finely painted mascarons. Decorated with motifs based on Japanese designs. Blue crossed swords mark, embosser's mark with three circles (cup) for Johann Gottlieb Kühnel and a star (saucer) for Paul Wildenstein. H of cup 6.2, W saucer 17.6 cm.
