A Meissen porcelain figure of a Chinese child

Rare, finely painted figure of a child with a cabbage leaf on his head, standing on a square plinth applied with flowers and foliage. Smoothed, unmarked base. Restored chips to the rim of the hat, the flowers and foliage. H 24.5 cm.
1749/50, model by Johann Joachim Kaendler and Friedrich Elias Meyer.
