A Meissen porcelain coffee pot with landscape decor

Decorated with two finely painted water landscapes reminiscent of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains with figures in the foreground and "woodcut" style scattered flowers. With a cryptic signature on one of the sand banks, possibly that of Johann Christoph Dietrich. Blue crossed swords mark, 14. in gold (also to the lid). A restored chip to the tip of the spout. Minor retouches to the gilding. H 22 cm.
