Bronze relief of a piper and drummer, South German or Swiss, last third 16th century
Cast bronze with old patina. Two further versions of this plaque with a depiction of a piper and a drummer in contemporary costume are housed in the museums of Troppau and Vienna.
With a drilled hole in the upper edge, a minor loss to the lower surface, wear throughout. 6.1 x 4.1 cm (oval).
