An Augsburg silver gilt Régence basin and ewer

The fluted ewer with angular scroll handle resting on a moulded oval foot. Engraved with strapwork surrounding applied medallions. The oval basin with corresponding decor and a broad rim. H of ewer 19.5; L of basin 39.3; W 27.8 cm, total weight 1,123 g.
Marks of Johann Ludwig Schoap I, 1729 – 1733.
