A George II silver kettle

Tall rechaud on tripod shell supports upon which rests a large, bombé-form kettle with wicker-wrapped folding handle. Decorated with repoussé flowerheads and a rocaille cartouche with an armorial engraving. The domed hinged lid with corresponding decor and an artichoke finial. H 3.5 cm, total weight 1,987 g.
