A Meissen porcelain ecuelle on stand in a fitted leather case

Soup bowl decorated with merchant scenes in red camaieu to the vessel and lid, the saucer with three Chinoiseries surrounding central "indianische blumen". Blue crossed swords mark, 1 in gold. The monkey finial and handle restored, minor rim chips to the tureen. H bowl 10, D saucer 17.2 cm. Octagonal leather travel case monogrammed V.M.C. H 5, D c. 25 cm.
Meissen, around 1735, decor attributed to Christian Friedrich Herold.
