A reverse glass painting with the Adoration of the Magi

Moulded glass panel painted on reverse in eglomisé technique in gold leaf and opaque and transparent pigments. With losses of pigment in the edges, old insect damage to the frame. H with carved walnut and softwood frame, partially gilded over red bole, 40, W 42 cm.
Late 16th / 17th C., after Albrecht Dürer (1471 - 1528).
