A Creussen stoneware apostle tankard

Salt glazed stoneware with slightly mottled surface, polychrome enamel decor and gilt accents. With two figures of apostles and Christ, inscribed on a white banderole. Pewter lid and basal ring, the lid engraved with a coat-of-arms, initials and the date 1675. H with thumbrest 15.7 cm.
Dated 1673 below the handle.
