Watercolour over pencil on paper. Each 39.5 x 56.2 cm.
One signed and dated lower right: C. Kniep 1788, the second also lower right: JH (?) 1788..

A very similar watercolour by Kniep is in the graphic collection of the Städel in Frankfurt (Inv. No. 1460Z).
