A polychromed and lacquered bronze figure of a guardian deity. Late Edo/early Meiji period

Standing on a rock, in his raised right hand a three-pronged vajra, the left hand rests on the hip. The figure wears a full armor with a fur apron at the back and dragon mouths to the upper arms. On the head in front of the hair bun a pierced diadem with a phoenix. Small ornaments of the armor inlaid with blue glass beads.
