A very large Imari charger. Arita. Second half 19th century

With a twenty-four-fold lobed rim, painted in underglaze-blue, iron-red and gold with a large flower vase to the centre and with textile patterns, four cartouches with figures, plants and birds overlaid by kikumon in the twenty-four panels of the rim, a morning glory scroll to the outside, spur marks at the base and the single character "shin" in underglaze-blue.
