Glass panel painted on reverse in eglomisé technique with gold leaf and opaque and transparent pigments against black ground. Retouches to the white. Painted wooden frame, H 32, W 26 cm.

This reverse glass painting reproduces in reverse the motif of the sheet "Der Mittag. Meridies" by the Augsburg engraver and publisher Johann Georg Hertel (1700 - 1775) after a drawing by Johann Adam Stockmann (around 1700 - 1783).
This lot includes the original print.
