A four-case inro by Kajikawa. Late 18/early 19th century

Displaying Toba on his mule and a bamboo forest in hiramakie, brown and red lacquer, kirikane, goldfoil and togidashi on a black lacquer ground. Signed Kajikawa saku and red seal reading Ei. Some losses. Chinese ivory bead ojime and ivory netsuke of a flat grazing horse with a silver plug.
