A Shibayama ivory two-case inro. Late 19th century

Profusely decorated with various birds amidst blossoming trees and flowering shrubs in mother-of-pearl, the corners fitted with silver. Silver ojime with aki no karakusa in relief and ivory manju with a karako and chrysanthemums, signed Shibayama Yasumune on a mother-of-pearl tablet, broken and restuck (partly upside down).
