An 18k gold layered carneol cameo pearl and diamond historicist pendant brooch.

Oval wreath design with a bow motif and a small droplet, set with an agate cameo carved with a portrait of a woman, approx. 43 rose-cut diamonds and drilled oriental pearls. Can also be worn as a pendant with the hinged bail. Hallmarks: Paris gold guarantee "tête d'aigle" (Tardy, 161), mis-struck maker's mark. 4.9 x 2.7 cm. Weight 12.55 g.
