A 14k red gold silver and diamond butterfly brooch with a bizarre Oriental pearl.

Brooch in the shape of a butterfly set with 73 small rose-cut diamonds and one old-cut diamond (J/K, p), two small rubies and a drilled bizarrely shaped brown-white pearl (14.9 x 11.3 mm) as the body. Not hallmarked. Original brooch mount was removable. Later brooch mount with added pin rest and safety clasp in yellow gold. H 3.0 cm. W 5.3 cm. Weight: 10.95 g.
