A rare pair of Künersberg faience plaques with allegories of summer and autumn

Square panels, the moulded rims painted with insects. Each with two polished and fired hanging holes. The summer with a diagonal crack, minor glaze chips to the surrounds. 17.5 x 17.5 and 17.8 x 17.8 cm.
Unmarked, Künersberg, 1745 - 1765.
